Digital Agrifood Summit
Paddock to Profit
This year’s Digital Agrifood Summit theme ‘Paddock to Profit’ will demonstrate how digitally driven insights, systems and tools are helping Australian producers increase value across the supply chain. Each session begins with a keynote presentation to establish industry context, followed by a case study to provide a real-world example, and rounded out with a panel of expert speakers to explore the path ahead.
The Digital Agrifood Summit is unlike any other event on the Australian agricultural calendar. A speaker line-up featuring Australian and International industry leaders is complemented by agtech demonstrations and guided tours of Food Agility and Charles Sturt’s Global Digital Farm.
Delegates will learn about advances in technologies and how organisations are working together to deliver technology-based production systems to the doorstep of the producer, supplier, and exporter.
By attending the Digital Agrifood Summit you will be one of the first in the country to take a guided tour of the Global Digital Farm. Set over 1,800ha at Charles Sturt University’s campus in Wagga Wagga, NSW, the GDF is Australia’s first fully automated commercial farm. With six major research projects and over $9m in committed investment, the GDF is well on its way to demonstrating the future of farming. Tours are included in every Summit registration, with shuttle buses running to and from the Summit venue. The two tours are ‘Cropping and Pastures’ and ‘Livestock and Natural Capital’.
